Wire EDM capabilities are nothing new for Alva Prototypes. However a FANUC Robocut is. Our recently acquired C400iC is a state-of-the-art EDM with a fully integrated fourth axis. Thanks to the “turn and burn” capability the fourth axis provides, we’re now able to cut more intricate shapes. And since the FANUC accepts wire ranging in size from .004 inches to .012 inches, it can cut material up to 250 mm/8 inches thick.
